JOB DESCRIPTION

Your primary role is to provide rigorous analytical and research support to the Institutional Brokerage team.

• Market Research & Idea Generation: Monitor Vietnamese and global markets (equities, fixed income, FX, commodities) and analyze price action and macroeconomic drivers. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly market summaries, research briefs, and trade idea sheets for internal and external use. Contribute investment ideas and hedging strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Sales Material Preparation: Create and refine client-facing materials such as pitchbooks, presentations, and investment proposals. Collaborate with senior team members to produce compelling content for client meetings, sales pitches, and product offerings.
• Event Coordination: Help organize client events such as investor conferences, corporate access days, and webinars. Manage logistics (invitations, scheduling, materials) and support seamless execution to strengthen client relationships.
• Process Improvement: Participate in projects aimed at enhancing sales processes and tools — e.g., automating recurring reports, updating presentation templates, and proposing improvements to the idea-generation workflow.
• Administrative Support: Prepare daily market briefings, schedule client calls/meetings, and assist senior sales staff with ad-hoc tasks in a timely and professional manner. Maintain and organize internal databases of financial data, market statistics, and valuation benchmarks.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

We seek candidates with a strong analytical foundation and a proactive mindset.

• Academic Status: Penultimate or final-year undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Strong academic performance is preferred. Solid grasp of corporate finance, accounting principles, and valuation techniques (e.g., DCF, cap rate).
• Analytical & Quantitative Skills: Excellent analytical ability; comfortable handling financial data and performing quantitative analysis under time pressure. Proficiency in Excel (modeling, data analysis) is required; familiarity with PowerPoint for presentations is expected. Experience with market data platforms (Bloomberg, FiinPro) or programming (VBA, Python) is a plus.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely. Proactive listener who asks insightful questions.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Vietnamese and English.
• Market Passion & Business Acumen: Demonstrated enthusiasm for Vietnamese and global markets. Up-to-date on market news and eager to learn across asset classes. Understands key market drivers (economic indicators, corporate news, central bank policy) and can discuss them intelligently.
• Mindset: Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Meticulous when handling market data and preparing client materials.
• Professionalism & Work Ethic: Proactive and eager to learn; takes initiative. Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Maintains high integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
